The medal was made of brass, from two separate parts. The ear was attached to the medal by soldering. The medal was made with a stamp that had no (or practically no) wear. All the details of the drawing are visible on the obverse. The Admiralty wall line can be traced throughout the obverse of the medal, the sickle handle protrudes beyond the blade, and the hammer handle is slightly thickened towards the bottom. Features: gold plating on the medal. The diameter is 32.16 mm. The thickness of the band is 2.8 mm. Weight - 16,895g.
