About:
The badge "senior pioneer". Introduced to the pioneers of the age of 13 as a step of preparation for membership in the Komsomol (Young Communist League). It was not presented individually. The badge was awarded to pioneers of the "Squad of senior pioneers". The badge was introduced in 1982.
